Empowerment Nevada is a 527 political organization dedicated to recultivating the “problem-solving by ourselves” philosophy upon which Nevada and the United States were founded.

We are political in the true, original sense of the word: We're about people solving problems and working both individually and collectively through the power to convene to make decisions, formulate ideas, and solve problems.

Empowerment Nevada's goal is to create a paradigm shift in thinking about politics. Our philosophy, “own it!” is much more than a clever tagline–it's our mission. We endorse a “hands-up” approach to solving problems, rather than putting our hands out, looking to governments, charities and others to solve them for us. It's about choosing not to complain about the ills in society, hoping someone else will fix them, and to start doing something about them instead. It's about each of us taking ownership and responsibility for our roles as citizens in this democratic republic.
